Where Hospitality Works was established in July 2005 to help address critical training and employment needs in anticipation of Super Bowl XL. WHW worked with the Tourism Economic Development Council, industry employers, Michigan Works Agencies and Community Colleges to develop the Ambassador Hospitality Training Program and successfully trained over 1500 front line workers in basic hospitality and customer service skills in restaurant, hotel and transportation businesses.

Building on the experience and success of the Super Bowl initiative, WHW has been able to position itself to play a lead role in addressing important training and employment needs in this critical industry.
