Established by the State of Michigan in 2005, Where Hospitality Works has helped to create a world class hospitality workforce that provides customers with great service and an experience they will remember, and tell their friends and colleagues about. Where Hospitality Works is dedicated to helping businesses find, train and retain qualified employees. It works with employers from the entertainment, food, lodging and transportation business to identify and meet their training and employment needs.

Where Hospitality Works provides low cost hospitality training for employees, and information about where to find qualified workers. It also provides information about how to access other training and employment services, and provides information about industry trends and developments.

Hospitality and tourism is all about people. The people make the place, so attracting and retaining the best people is essential to a thriving business and a thriving economy.
